Create an exchange

This walkthrough follows one transaction from the initial API check to its final status.

1. Check the API status

Call GET /v1/status before starting the flow. Continue only when the API reports that it is available.

2. Get currencies and limits

Use GET /v1/currencies to get the supported fiat and crypto currencies and their networks. Then call GET /v1/market-info/min-max-range/{from_to} to get the minimum and maximum amounts for the selected currency pair.

3. Request an estimate

Call GET /v1/estimate with the source amount, source currency, destination currency and their networks. Show the returned estimate to the customer.

4. Create the transaction

Call POST /v1/transaction with the selected currencies, networks and amount. Include customer and payout information when it is available.

5. Send the customer to checkout

Read redirect_url from the create transaction response and send the customer to that URL. Guardarian checkout collects any information and payment details that are still required.

6. Track the final status

Track changes through webhooks. You can also request the current state from GET /v1/transaction/{id} using the transaction ID.
