Sub-partner onboarding

To stay compliant and maintain Guardarian risk standards, Guardarian ensures that sub-partners meet the requirements and can safely use Guardarian infrastructure.

We offer two onboarding options for sub-partners:

1. Guardarian-managed onboarding​

In this option, sub-partners go through Guardarian’s compliance process, either directly or through information provided by the partner. This process includes:

  • Questionnaire – Collect essential business and compliance information.
  • SumSub KYB – Know Your Business verification via SumSub.
  • Additional Document Verification – Any extra documents required for compliance checks.

2. Partner-managed onboarding (onboarding reliance)​

In this option, the partner provides its onboarding procedure to Guardarian’s compliance team for review. Once approved:

  • Guardarian relies on the partner onboarding process for sub-partners.
  • The partner must provide a list of sub-partners and their websites for additional security checks.

The onboarding procedure might need adjustments to align with Guardarian’s risk appetite.

API keys for sub-partners​

Regardless of the onboarding method, each sub-partner receives an individual API key. This ensures that all traffic can be monitored and traced promptly in case of any issues or emergencies.
